Meet Hunter Brill: Pied Piper of LOG ROLLING in Colorado

When we our project to grow the sport of log rolling in 2011, there were fewer than ten locations in the world with formal teaching programs. And most of them where located in the state of Wisconsin.

Today, there are more than 550 locations in 49 states and nine countries, thanks to the portable, synthetic Key Log® and the hundreds of willing and able  programming partners, like Hunter Brill of Colorado.

We met Hunter at the National Conference of the Association of Aquatics Professionals in San Diego.  At the time, Hunter was working for the Boulder, Colorado Parks and Recreation Department. He persuaded his director to purchase a Key Log to start some programming.

When he moved to the Denver Park and Recreation's new Carla Madison Recreation Center, Hunter brought his passion for log rolling with him. Now, with seven community log rolling programs in Colorado, the potential for a competitive log rolling league is growing. Little by little, our vision of Olympic log rolling is being adopted by communities everywhere!
