As a family of world champion log rollers, we are passionate about the sport and want to share the fun and fitness benefits with others. Our vision is to grow log rolling to Olympic status. We’ve been at the forefront of the sport’s development for over 40 years and have celebrated with countless youth and adults as they’ve experienced their first moment of success!
Co-Founder/President
Abby’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of teaching others to log roll became evident at age 13, when she started a summer log rolling school in her neighborhood pond. She founded Key Log Rolling to make the fun and fitness benefits of log rolling accessible to everyone, everywhere. The lessons Abby learned from log rolling - like never stop moving your feet! - have guided her in starting and growing a business.

The Key Log is truly Judy’s brainchild. As a seven-time world champion log roller, the only thing she is more passionate about than competing in log rolling, is teaching and sharing the sport with the world. Judy is an inspiring idea person, and she knew we needed a portable, synthetic piece of equipment to transform her vision of making log rolling an Olympic sport into a reality.
Co-Founder
Jay is a husband and father to world champion log rollers. While not a champion himself, his decades-long contribution to the sport is arguably more significant than all of his family’s titles combined. Jay’s invention of the Key Log Training Fins helped him become a log roller in his own right, and paved the way for future log rollers to come.
Operations/Finance
As a collegiate hockey player, Matt was drawn to log rolling for its athletic challenge...and the fact that Abby (his now wife) was his instructor. He went from beginner to elite log roller in less than 5 years. Matt is as quick on the Key Log, as he is with a spreadsheet and he keeps our team rolling forward.
