Meet Jason. He bought a Key Log for his lake home after his kids tried log rolling at a summer camp. He tells us he thought he was buying it for his kids, but it became something the whole family loves doing together.
How did you hear about Key Log?
My kids took a week-long Log Rolling camp as part of the University of Minnesota’s summer camp program. Log Rolling really stood out to them when we were going over the different options. After the first day, they couldn’t stop talking about it.
Did they try log rolling again?
The following summer we tried to sign them up again, but the Log Rolling camps were full. We found out that Log Rolling is one of the most popular camps. That’s when we started looking into other ways to log roll and came across the Key Log website. The kids confirmed that was the same log they used at camp, and we made the decision to purchase one for our lake home. We’re always looking for ways to keep the kids outside and active, and they convinced us that we’d ALL love it.
How’s it been going with your Key Log?
Everybody loves it. My wife, 3 kids (grade school to college), in fact, I think I might be more into it than the kids! Log rolling is one of the first things I’ve seen everyone in my family participate in while laughing the entire time. It didn’t matter if we were staying up for 2 seconds or 2 minutes, it was all smiles, all the time.
It’s also been a hit when we have family and friends at the cabin. Even the grandparents will jump on. And if you’re at all competitive, hang on tight, it’s hard to stay off the log.
